The Parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins: “Salvation must be everything or it does nothing”
If Salvation is to achieve its work in us, then it must be everything to us.
If Salvation is to achieve its work in us, then it must be everything to us.
Only as transformation (i.e., sanctification) takes place can we start to prove (know with certainty) the will of God. Without transformation/sanctification we cannot know God’s will. And so we stumble, taking uncertain steps in life: never quite sure what we are about, or what to do or where to go and how to get there. We have the Light but not the Sight.
Is Salvation valuable enough to give up everything to get it?… For Salvation to come to our lives, it must displace everything from our lives… If Salvation means ANYTHING to us, it must be EVERYTHING to us. How much are you willing to lose just to get Salvation? How much is too much to lose to get Salvation?
When Jesus is our Master, we focus on how we can glorify Him, not on how He can satisfy us.
We are never too poor to give… We are never too impoverished to help someone else.
In the Kingdom of God, believing is seeing!!! To find God, to prove Him, we must first step out in faith. Miracles grow the faith of the faithful.
It’s not what you SAY, It’s what you DO.
It’s not how you START, It’s how you FINISH.
It’s not who you ARE, It’s who you can BECOME.
The wronged are challenged to be more concerned about the spiritual state of the wrongdoers than the wrongs done. The mission of the injured is to rescue the injurers.
The images on currency (money, coins) tell us who owns it. The titles on the currency tell the value assigned by the owner. Likewise, our ownership and value are determined by whose image and title is on us. Sin removes God’s image and title from us and replaces it with the world’s title and valuation. But Salvation through Jesus Christ re-imprints God’s image on our lives and we are re-titled as Sons.
It is NOT comfort, ease of life, safety, or even health that separates the righteous from the rebellious. The only thing that separates the saved from the unsaved is REPENTANCE.
