…there are many people around us in need of our unconditional and sacrificial love. Will we choose to be their neighbours?
Here we are told, without LOVE it is impossible to SERVE God. Preaching/Teaching is empty without Godly love, Spirituality is pointless without Godly love and Generosity/Giving is worthless without Godly love.
If we want God’s praise, if we want to excel in what God values, then we must trust Him more and we must love each other more. We don’t earn God’s praise by the songs we sing, or by how often we go to church, or by how many committees we sit on, or by the image we project.
Christianity’s scramble for popularity today is an unconscious acknowledgment of spiritual decline. Her eager fawning at the feet of the world’s great is a grief to the Holy Spirit and an embarrassment to the sons of God.
To “see” the human being “first” risks the prioritization of the state of man over the design/plan of God. It is to be preoccupied with where someone is rather than where they need to be.
God, Jehovah, The God of the Bible, will NOT share the “spotlight”: If we have salvation by Him, then we have salvation by Him ONLY; if we worship Him, then we worship Him ONLY, if we serve Him, then we serve Him ONLY.
Many of us in the evangelical Church today have convinced ourselves that our agenda is also God’s. However, our agenda MUST be informed by The Scriptures, not our feelings. And The Scriptures tell us that God’s glory tops His agenda.
…we are God’s temple, the Spirit of God dwells with us…
…when Believers stay together, pray together, gather together and work together then Believers will thrive, remain strong and deliver right judgment (God’s message of redemption through Jesus).
