FEAR NOT: Overcome Obstacles with Obedience
If we are walking with God, what can harm us? Is there an obstacle we can’t overcome with God holding our hands? Can someone else snatch us away from God’s side?

Fear of consequences does not produce love or even obedience. It is ONLY an enduring, reverential, and respectful love relationship with God that will keep us from sin. When we reverence God’s Holiness, when we respect His way, when we have a genuine relationship with Him we will find it increasingly uncomfortable to disobey Him, we will avoid sin.

Mankind’s problem isn’t fundamentally one of knowledge. Rather the issue that besets the world is one of will. We know God exists, we know what is right. But will we seek God? Will we humbly accept His Way and His Salvation?

Let us keep our focus squarely and continually on the Word of God. Let us not be deceived by the opinions of men, or the lures of the devil. Let us affix the Word of God in our hearts, so that we can be rooted, steadfast, in His Will.
When God reaches out to us, we have a finite “window of opportunity” to respond to His call.
The heart must be the principal point to which we attend in all the relations between God and our souls.
