Wise Men, Whom Do You Seek?
Wise men of today,
For whom do you seek?
Whose star will lead you?
Whose praise shall you speak?
What worth is wisdom,
If it cannot save?
What joy is wisdom,
That ends in the grave?

In The Light, our status is no longer defined by our sinfulness, nor by our self-made goodness; we stand un-condemned, and now we have nothing to fear by being exposed. In fact, The Light reveals what God has done for us! He displays for all to see the wonderful works of redemption and forgiveness He has done in the lives of Believers.
As I got older, though, a terrible realization began to creep into my heart: as much as I tried to be good, I always failed. I could put on a good show, but on the inside I was full of terrible thoughts and desires I couldn’t control. There was something broken there, something I couldn’t fix…

Today, since the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, Christians are now the ones appointed to GIVE THANKS; because Believers are the royal priesthood of God (1 Peter 2:9-10). It is Believers who must show the world how to GIVE THANKS to God!
To “see” the human being “first” risks the prioritization of the state of man over the design/plan of God. It is to be preoccupied with where someone is rather than where they need to be.
…Jesus offers peace to us, not war. Let us accept His generous offer, while we can, for it is far more than we deserve from a righteous and Holy God.
Despite all the prophets God sent, the Israelites were not saved, because they rejected God. Prophets/prophecies do not save us. Only God’s grace by faith of Jesus Christ can save us.
The “good” the unsaved man/woman seeks to fulfill their own self-centered desires and not the desires of God. Therefore, everything done by the unsaved is an abomination, repulsive, to God. Only actions of faith will please Him.
