See GOD First
To “see” the human being “first” risks the prioritization of the state of man over the design/plan of God. It is to be preoccupied with where someone is rather than where they need to be.

It is the father who points the “arrows” (his children) and sends them on their journey (Psalm 127:4-5) through life. And, it is the good father that uses God’s word to shape the arrows before they are sent.
The first step in a powerful prayer-life is seeking the will of God. We must let go of our wills our wants and our wishes. And replace them with God’s will “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done”…
Many of us become frustrated with our lack of earthly treasure. We wonder why God hasn’t blessed us with the things that “moth” and “rust doth corrupt”. Somehow, we fail to recognize that God has lovingly removed from our lives the temptation to accumulate wealth unto ourselves…
A profit is an improvement resulting from a transaction… examine whether the transaction of exchanging our souls to gain the world puts us in a better position eternally. Because in God’s ledger only salvation… counts as profit; only work in the Kingdom of God brings in revenue; everything else is loss.
As Jesus sent His disciples out into a world that would be hostile to them, that would imprison them and beat them and kill them, what they needed to succeed wasn’t a new car, or perfect teeth or a retirement plan. What they needed to live successfully (as God defines it) was The Comforter.
A Believer becomes a new creation at the point of salvation, but that new man does not automatically have control over the old, but still present, sin-nature. Sanctification is the process of putting to death that old sin nature so that Christ can reign in us… a Believer with God’s Word incorporated in is/her heart is Word-driven and Spiritually centered, free from the power of sin.
We often miss our most important responsibility to our children: cultivating the soil of their heart… and planting the seed of God’s Word in it.
Wisdom for living is ONLY found in the WORD of God and only the Holy Spirit can guide us through life. So, let us “clothe” our children in the scarlet Blood of Jesus Christ so that they will be prepared for the harshest winters of life.
Jesus taught that if our eye, or the way we see things, is healthy, then our life can be filled with happiness. But if the way we see things, if our outlook or mindset is messed up, there is no end to how dark our life can be.
Like Jeremiah, let us choose God’s way instead of the way of the world and in the end, we too will be Undefeated, Unbowed and Undiminished.
