During that week before I had confessed to my dad that I had indeed lied to him, he did not throw me out of his house; he didn’t disown me or write me out of his will! I was STILL his child, but our fellowship was broken.

When we accept Jesus as Savior and the Holy Spirit indwells us, we will have access to the wisdom of God through His Word, the Bible, and the promptings of The Holy Spirit.
God will expose the pride in our lives to us… we can humble ourselves and be lifted up by Him. Or, we can choose to cling to our selfish pride and self-destruct our own lives!
There are times when God wants to do a new thing in our lives.
…when you fail and need restoration don’t seek a cheap one or an easy one. Let the great Shepherd lead you into the paths of righteousness that will truly restore your soul.
Faith is not the ignorance of reality; it is the entrance into a reality that the world cannot begin to see.
When some followers of Christ find themselves suffering, their immediate response is “Lord, deliver me from this, immediately!” He can and sometimes He does. But He often does not. When He does not, it may be because it is His will to grow spiritual character in the life of His follower.
Trials in life are certainly not desirable! They are not comfortable, they may cause us pain and inconvenience, but when they are brought by God into our lives there is most definitely something He wants us to learn from them!
The reality that God loves us unconditionally is often described in the Bible by one word: “MERCY”.
I was never going to get married. No amount of wanting it on my end would make it happen, no amount of trying could undo this truth. I was simply not ever going to get married.
