Waiting for the Right Redeemer
Rather than seeking a redeemer to bring us justice because we think we are right (and God is wrong), we need to seek The Redeemer who brings us mercy because we know God is right (even when we don’t understand).

…Out of His great love and mercy, God The Father sent Jesus The Son to this earth to shed His blood for our sins. So that by simply placing our faith in Christ and His blood for the forgiveness of our sins we are saved eternally!
How can I survive on my own?
I can’t make it all alone.
I have tried to do right, but I fail over and over again.
When will I overcome my weakness? When? When!
I look to my brother, and he is struggling too.
Lord, have mercy on me and my brother we NEED You.
Meditate a little on this MERCY of the Lord: It is TENDER Mercy; It is GREAT Mercy; It is UNDESERVED Mercy; It is RICH Mercy; It is MANIFOLD Mercy; It is ABOUNDING Mercy; It is UNFAILING Mercy
Left on our own, our species would undoubtedly swallow itself whole in greed and debauchery. But there is One who comes to us with a different way. Like the sun breaking through the clouds, he brings warmth and life and a way out of the mire.
Lately my dog has been doing a pretty good job of keeping me humble. Whenever I am tempted to lose patience with him, I am halted by the thought that God is so incredibly patient with me. I’m reminded of my own shortcomings…
The same God that formed us in our mothers’ wombs desires a personal relationship with us. While we are in human corruptible flesh we are only able to have access to Him through an incorruptible, sinless representative. Jesus is the one and only High Priest who fits that description.
Some treat the blood of Christ as nothing special, they say it was no different from any other blood, but that is NOT what God says in His Word… Only through faith in the blood of Christ can we be saved…
God loves us every day, and every moment of every day. He wants us to come to Him with our burdens and troubles, to commune, to fellowship, to talk with Him every day, and every moment of every day.
…in spite of our utter hopelessness to be as good as God intended us to be, His strength and grace and love overshadow every distraction and weakness with a light that will nourish and guide us all of our days if we dare to walk in it. Even when the Enemy has us so shortsighted that we stumble at every step, God’s arms are still there: still holding us up…
