Triumph Through Trials
Trials in life are certainly not desirable! They are not comfortable, they may cause us pain and inconvenience, but when they are brought by God into our lives there is most definitely something He wants us to learn from them!

And may heaven welcome others
Who will join me in praise
Because I lived for Jesus Christ
Not just on Christmas Days
“But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither…” ~ Psalm 1:2-3a
“Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season…” ~ 2 Timothy 4:2a
How do we see Jesus? Is Jesus our Saviour onto eternal life in fellowship with God? Or, Is Jesus a tool to fix problems in this life? When faced with life’s problems what do we want from Jesus? Do we want exercise our faith or ease our flesh? Do we want His “strength to be made perfect” in our “weakness”?
We cannot always control our circumstances, but we can control the way we respond to them. Respond with thanksgiving.
Lord strengthen me so I will not disappoint You… again
Like Jeremiah, let us choose God’s way instead of the way of the world and in the end, we too will be Undefeated, Unbowed and Undiminished.
One way the Lord makes us lie down is to use health problems, marriage problems, problems with our children, financial problems, career and professional problems and any other kind of problems we can imagine to teach us about the relationship which is the key to all the blessings…
To get out of difficulty, one must usually go through it!
Far from being an obstacle to our spiritual growth, pain can be the instrument of it… if we are trained by it.
Despite the damage sin does to us spiritually and physically, the Blood of Jesus Christ washes us clean and makes us new. From human eyes, it might not look like much, but we have everything we need to build up our spiritual wall of salvation…
