A child of God simply cannot live their life with any contentment if we are not taking in God’s Word and applying it to our lives on a regular basis. We NEED God’s instruction fed to us through His very words. There just is no substitute for it.
To deny that God’s Word (The Bible) is truth is to say that Christ lied. To say, “well maybe not all of it was true”, makes Christ a liar and a fool because He said it was true.

If we do not believe in the God of the Bible, then we are not saved by the God of the Bible… If we do not like His salvation plan, we are free to construct our own god from the parts of the scripture we find convenient to our lifestyle and philosophy. Believing in Jesus is not the hard part, that’s not what stops us from truly coming to God. What prevents us from becoming disciples is our unwillingness to apply God’s Word fully and continually to our every aspect of lives. Many of us believe in Jesus, but we want to continue in our own word, we want to do things the way we like it, we want to be “free”, just like lucifer.
The very genesis of our growth is the Word of Christ which the Holy Spirit reveals to us.
What are you bumping into along life’s journey? Turn on the light of the word of God.
Let us keep our focus squarely and continually on the Word of God. Let us not be deceived by the opinions of men, or the lures of the devil. Let us affix the Word of God in our hearts, so that we can be rooted, steadfast, in His Will.
The enemy knows our weaknesses, and we need to be aware of them as well, because that is exactly where he will strike time after time… When we fail to use the armor of God we become ineffective soldiers for God…
Believers do not have to be victims of false teachers with false teachings. Every Believer CAN know the Word of God for himself/herself, BECAUSE we have the Holy Spirit indwelling our hearts!
Physical food only sustains our temporary bodies for the few years we live here on earth. It takes spiritual food to give us spiritual strength to “walk in the Spirit” (Galatians 5:16, 25) and to fight spiritual battles with spiritual weapons (2 Corinthians 10:4) against spiritual foes (Ephesians 6:12) as citizens of the spiritual Kingdom of Heaven (John 3:5).
